Kathmandu: The Nepal Army has issued a public appeal urging young people and citizens to exercise restraint and maintain social harmony and national unity to prevent the current situation from escalating.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Army emphasized the collective responsibility to safeguard the country’s historical, cultural, archaeological, and national assets. “The Nepal Army is always dedicated to the welfare and security of Nepal and the Nepali people, and is committed to protecting the lives and property of Nepal and the Nepali people, keeping in mind the current evolving situation,” the appeal stated.
The Army is closely monitoring the developments of the ongoing Gen-Z movement in Nepal and has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property resulting from the movement. The Army offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls and extended its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families while wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
