RSP Lawmakers Decide to Resign En Masse


Kathmandu: Lawmakers of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have decided to resign from their posts en masse. Acting Chairperson of the RSP, Dol Prasad Aryal, shared that the RSP lawmakers would resign en masse as per the Secretariat’s proposal.



According to National News Agency Nepal, a press release issued by the RSP Parliamentary Party Office states that 20 lawmakers, including RSP Parliamentary Party leader Rabi Lamichhane, would tender their resignation. The decision comes amidst internal discussions within the party’s secretariat.



There are 21 lawmakers from the RSP in the House of Representatives, including the Deputy-Speaker. The mass resignation decision is set to leave a significant impact on the party’s representation and influence in the legislative process. The specific reasons behind this collective resignation have not been detailed in the press release.
