According to National News Agency Nepal, the Embassy of Nepal in Lisbon, in collaboration with the Embassy of Nepal in France, has started providing consular services related to the verification of necessary documents. This includes consular services by operating a mobile service. The mobile service, which started on Friday, has begun verifying about 200 documents, including police character certificates.

During the camp period, the Embassy will provide consular services related to the verification of police character certificates, relation verification certificates, birth registration, marriage registration, and other documents, excluding the verification of power of attorney. Additionally, ready-made passports for service seekers who applied for electronic passports during the previous mobile camp will be distributed. Digital photos and fingerprints will be collected again for those who could not prepare their passports earlier.

Charge d’ Affaires of Nepal to Portugal, Ram Babu Nepal, informed RSS that the Embassy of Nepal in Lisbon has started providing essential services related to passports and other documents through a mobile service camp. This initiative is aimed at facilitating Nepalis facing problems related to document verification. He urged the Nepalis living in Portugal to be patient as the embassy would provide all services as soon as possible, acknowledging that it would take some time to fully establish operations.
