Nepali Parliamentary Team Embarks on Study Visit to Kuala Lumpur.


KATHMANDU: National Assembly Vice-Chair Bimala Ghimire has led a 13-member Nepali parliamentary team to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on a study and observation visit. The delegation is on an official visit at the invitation of the Government of Malaysia and will remain there until December 6.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the delegation includes key parliamentary figures such as the Speaker of the Madhes, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces-Ram Chandra Mandal, Bhuwan Kumar Pathak, and Ambar Bahadur Bista, respectively. The Deputy Speakers from various provinces are also part of the team, including Menuka Khand KC from Lumbini, Bina Kumari Thapa from Gandaki, Koilidevi Chaudhary from Sudurpaschim, and Yashoda Neupane from Karnali.

During their visit, the Nepali parliamentary delegation is scheduled to meet with both the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Malaysia, as well as their counterparts in the Selangor Provincial Parliament. These meetings aim to strengthen parliamentary ties and facilitate knowledge exchan
ge between the two nations.

The delegation is set to conclude their study visit and return to Nepal on December 6.
