Kathmandu: The government has appointed Choodamani Chapagain from Jhapa as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (Nepse). The Cabinet decided on Monday to appoint Chapagain to the position, and he received his appointment letter from Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire today. Nepse is prepared to welcome the new CEO to the office on Wednesday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the decision to appoint Chapagain as the new CEO was confirmed by the Cabinet, marking a significant leadership change for the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. The appointment letter was handed over by Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, who serves as the Revenue Secretary. The exchange is ready to receive Chapagain as he assumes his new role starting Wednesday.
