Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed ambassadors to four countries amidst a special ceremony organized at the Office of the President today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the newly-appointed ambassador to the United States of America (USA), Lok Darshan Regmi, the newly-appointed ambassador to the Federal Democratic Republic of Germany, Dr. Shail Rupakheti, the newly-appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Naresh Bikram Dhakal, and the newly-appointed ambassador to Australia, Chitralekha Yadav, took oath before the President on the occasion.
The ceremony was attended by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and high officials of the Government of Nepal, reflecting the significance of the event in the diplomatic landscape of Nepal. The newly-appointed ambassadors are expected to strengthen Nepal’s international relations and cooperation with the respective countries they are assigned to.
