Arghakhanchi, Sept 4: A person died and four others were critically hurt after being hit by lightning strike at Goldhunga in Arghakhanchi district on Monday.
Milan Khanal, 20, of Malarani rural municipality-9 died when the lightning hit him at around 2:50 pm. He was immediately rushed to the District Hospital for further treatment where he breathed his last, according to District Police Office, Arghakhachi.
DSP Mukunda Rijal shared that the injured ones in the incident-Damodar Khanal, Jem Bahadur Pun and Chand Bahadur Pun and Lil Bahadur Pun- were admitted to the District Hospital. They have been referred to Lumbini Zonal Hospital at Butwal.
