Beijing: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, currently on a four-day official visit to the People’s Republic of China, held a significant meeting with Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, to discuss bilateral relations and mutual concerns between Nepal and China.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the discussions between Prime Minister Oli and Chairman Zhao Leji also included topics on the activities of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), political exchanges, and prospective future cooperation between the two countries. This meeting is part of a series of diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening ties between Nepal and China.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli paid a courtesy call on Chinese President Xi Jinping. The visit also included a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Oli’s delegation and the Chinese delegation, led by Premier Li Qiang.
