Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended best wishes to one and all on the occasion of Bhadra Krishna Aunshi, also known as Kushe Aunshi or Father’s Day. Taking to social media, PM Oli expressed his greetings, paying respect to both living fathers and departed ancestors.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Prime Minister shared that he received blessings from his father early in the morning on this auspicious occasion. He emphasized that the day to honor fathers is a symbolic gesture of showing ancestral respect within tradition.
PM Oli remarked that parents should always be given a feeling of respect, not just on special days. He highlighted the significance of the day, noting that it is special because it brings children who are far away back to see their fathers.
