KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has announced that preparations for the upcoming by-election scheduled for Sunday have been completed. The EC has assured voters that the voting process will be conducted smoothly from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, encouraging eligible voters from the concerned wards to participate confidently by visiting the voting centers.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the EC has outlined that voters can cast their votes using any one of several identification documents, including a voter’s identity card, citizenship certificate, national identity card, passport, PAN card, or driving license. However, it is essential that the voter’s name appears on the latest voter list issued by the EC.
The EC has also informed that Chief District Officers have been instructed to make necessary arrangements for vehicular movement to facilitate voter access to the polling stations. This directive aims to ensure the comfort and convenience of voters on election day, as stated by EC Spokesperson Nit
