Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has issued an ordinance to amend the Voter Registration Act, 2073 BS. The ordinance was enacted following the procedures outlined in subsection (1) of Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal, and it was recommended by the Nepal Government, Council of Ministers, as stated by the President’s office.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the ordinance aims to make necessary changes to the existing voter registration framework.
