Awaza: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is returning home today after attending the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) held in Awaza, Turkmenistan. The conference aimed to address the unique challenges faced by landlocked nations and explore strategies for sustainable development.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Prime Minister departed for Dubai from the Turkmenbashi International Airport this morning. In a formal farewell, Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers, Rasit Meredow, saw off the Prime Minister at the airport at 8.30 am local time.
PM Oli is expected to arrive in Kathmandu via Dubai at 11.05 pm today. His participation in the conference highlights Nepal’s active involvement in international discussions concerning landlocked countries and their development issues.
