Kathmandu: Chairperson of Non-Life Insurance Association and immediate past president of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC), Rajendra Malla has pledged cooperation from the private sector for the reconstruction of national property. At a meeting with Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal at Singhadurbar today, Malla emphasized on instituting a relief fund for reconstruction after assessing the loss of national assets during the Gen Z protests.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Malla expressed readiness to support the government from both the private sector and personal levels to rebuild vital government structures, including Singhadurbar, the parliament building, and the Supreme Court. He stressed the importance of all concerned stakeholders acting responsibly for economic prosperity, with a focus on good governance.
