Baglung: A massive landslide triggered by continuous rainfall has blocked the Baglung section of the Kaligandaki Corridor, a project of national pride, since this morning. The landslide occurred at Belbagar in Jaimini municipality-8, completely halting traffic along the route.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the scale of the landslide has made restoring the roadway challenging. Keshab Thapa, the chief information officer of the District Police Office in Baglung, confirmed the situation and highlighted the difficulties faced in clearing the debris to reopen the highway.
