Rastriya Samachar Samiti Bids Farewell to Chairman Uday Bahadur Ranamagar


Bhadrakali:Chairman of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Uday Bahadur Ranamagar, was honored at a farewell event held at the central office of RSS on Friday.



According to National News Agency Nepal, RSS General Manager Sandip Rai expressed appreciation for Ranamagar’s significant contributions to the organization in a brief six-month tenure. Rai highlighted that Ranamagar’s leadership was instrumental in institutional and policy reforms.



Ranamagar, who also serves as the joint secretary, emphasized the necessity for a new Act to replace the outdated RSS Act-2019. Despite his recent transfer from the Ministry of Information and Communications to the Ministry of Defense, he assured continued support for RSS reforms and encouraged employees to foster unity and collaboration.



During the farewell, Chief Editor Uttam Silwal commended Ranamagar for his role in the financial strengthening of RSS during the current fiscal year. Chief Reporter Yekraj Pathak and Chief of International Desk Dilip Adhikari also acknowledged Ranamagar’s impactful contributions, noting the progress made in financial and physical domains under his leadership.



Feature Section Chief Krishna Adhikari and Acting Chief of Administrative Section Bharat KC highlighted specific reforms initiated by Ranamagar, including recruitment processes, law amendments, organizational surveys, infrastructure development, and salary increases for stringers.
