Rastriya Swatantra Party Vows to Uphold Constitutional and Democratic Principles


Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has affirmed its unwavering commitment to uphold the spirit of the constitution, the federal republic system, and democratic norms and values.



According to National News Agency Nepal, RSP Acting President Dol Prasad Aryal issued a three-point proposal on Thursday, emphasizing that the party would not compromise with any force on critical democratic principles. These include the spirit of the constitution, the federal republican system, rule of law, civilian supremacy, pluralism, and the assurance of fundamental rights.



Aryal further declared that the forthcoming transitional political course should be guided under the direct initiative and dialogue of the President, ensuring the process aligns with the nation’s constitutional and democratic frameworks.
