Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has emphasized the significant contributions of the late ascetic leader Khagendra Raj Regmi to the nation, highlighting them as exemplary.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during the first memorial day of the former Syangja district President of the Nepali Congress, Deuba, who is also a former Prime Minister, shared his personal experiences with Regmi. He mentioned that he had known Regmi since his teaching career and valued his decency and efforts in party organization building.
At the same event, Vice President Dhanraj Gurung paid tribute to Regmi, describing him as a respected political mentor. Gurung noted that Regmi instilled in them the importance of serving the people and the nation.
