Kathmandu: The central committee meeting of the Rastrioya Swatantra Party (RSP) is scheduled to take place today. The meeting will discuss the progress report of the central departments, the investigation report on the tampering of the cooling-off period in the civil service bill, and various contemporary political and party activities, the party sources informed.
According to National News Agency Nepal, party spokesperson Manish Jha stated that discussions will be held on 13 different agenda items during the meeting. The meeting will decide on assigning responsibilities to the party’s former central committee members.
The party will also raise the issue of arranging voting rights for Nepali citizens abroad with the government and relevant authorities, Jha said. In addition, discussions will take place regarding new appointments at the central and provincial departments of the party.
