Seema Avas Unveils Novel ‘Mahayug’ Highlighting Women’s Self-Awareness


Biratnagar: A novel, ‘Mahayug’, penned by Seema Avas has been launched on Friday. The novel depicts the story of a woman’s self-awareness in four stages.



According to National News Agency Nepal, novelist Avas expressed that society often confines women within boundaries, but her novel aims to awaken and elevate suppressed feminine power. She has created an era of Mahayug in her novel, aligning with the consciousness of women.



It has been informed that the novel by Avas articulates loud and clear concerns of contemporary women. Avas, based in Biratnagar, an eastern city of Nepal, also writes stories and poems. Her famous poetry collection, ‘Ma Stri Arthat Aaimai’ (I’m a female that is to say a woman), is well-known.



The market price of the novel is Rs 699. The book is published by Book Hill.
