Police arrested six persons, including a woman, with police uniform on charge of their involvement in making talk with an ulterior goal of tarnishing the image of the police.
The arrested Persons are: Raonak Biswas, 23, Muhammad Mustakim, 25, Al Mamun, 47, Sazu Ahmed, 33, Habibur Rahman, 19 and Ayesha Siddiqua, 22.
A team of the Detective Branch (DB) of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) conducted a sudden raid at Terakhadia Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Divisional Stadium area around 10 am and arrested them red-handed.
DB Deputy Commissioner (DC) Al Mamum said the arrested persons were making tiktolk videos and still photograph wearing police uniform coupled with using manuscripts containing information and body language which were detrimental to police image.
A case was recorded with Rajshahi Kotwali Police Station in this connection and the arrested persons were handed over to the court.
