Mustang: Mustang has received snowfall for the seventh time this season. Snowfall has been reported in Baragung Mukti Kshetra and Upper Mustang since 11:00 pm today. Earlier, Mustang had also received heavy snowfall last Saturday and Monday. The first snowfall occurred in late October, and the region has been experiencing snowfall and rain since then.
According to National News Agency Nepal, even though the summer season has begun, snowfall has not stopped, making it difficult for tourists to visit Muktinath Temple and Upper Mustang. Ward Chair of Baragung Mukti Kshetra-1, Pramesh Gurung, mentioned that the movement of pilgrims is challenging due to the persistent snowfall during the summer season.
The daily life of the locals has been affected as the cold weather has increased due to snowfall in Upper Mustang.
