Kathmandu: Thukten Palwar Tamang, a 24-year-old resident of Humla currently living in Kathmandu, has been missing for the past 11 days.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Tamang, who hails from Namkha Rural Municipality-3, Khagalgaun in Humla, had been residing in Tinchuli, Kathmandu. He reportedly participated in the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9. His father, Tai Czhering, mentioned that Tamang returned to his room in Kathmandu after attending the protests on September 8.

On September 9, Tamang, who works at a hotel, came back to his room after completing his morning shift. He then left to join the protests in the afternoon, around 2:00 pm, from Bouddha. Since then, he has not returned to his residence.

Despite extensive searches in various locations across Kathmandu, Tamang’s whereabouts remain unknown. His father has made a plea to all concerned parties to assist in the search for his son, who disappeared following his participation in the Gen Z protests.
