Mugu: Three farmers from Mugu district have been awarded the Chief Minister’s Best Farmer Award. According to National News Agency Nepal, the Karnali Province Government presents these awards annually to recognize and encourage outstanding agricultural practices among local farmers. The awards ceremony, organized by the District Agricultural Development Office, Mugu, took place on Friday.
Brikha Bahadur Bham of Ward No. 4 of Chhayanath Rara Municipality secured first place for his excellence in vegetable farming. Nailasingh Khadka from Nigale village, Chhayanath Rara Municipality-3, earned second place, while honey farmer Rup Bahadur Sejuwal from Liudi village, Chhayanath Rara Municipality-6, was awarded third place. The top three farmers received cash prizes of Rs 30,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 20,000 respectively, along with certificates of appreciation, as stated by Ganesh Adhikari, Chief of the District Agricultural Development Office, Mugu.
