Transport Office Bara Raises Rs 82.1 Million Revenue in 10 Months


Bara: The Transport Management Office in Bara, Kalaiya, has successfully amassed a revenue of Rs. 82.17 million as of the first week of May for the current fiscal year. Office chief, Avinder Das, reported that the office has been diligently collecting revenue over the past 10 months.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the office has been achieving an average monthly revenue collection of Rs. 6.1 million. The highest revenue contributor was vehicle registration, accounting for Rs. 3.8 million in the current fiscal year.



The office also generated Rs. 1.69 million from new driving license approvals. Additional driving license approvals contributed Rs. 2.84 million to the revenue.



For new driving license registrations, the office collected Rs. 8.37 million. Moreover, Rs. 3.3 million was gathered from additional driving license registrations, Rs. 2.7 million from license renewals, and Rs. 8.28,950 from various vehicle-related revenues.



Additionally, Rs. 860,525 was collected from income tax, and Rs. 3.9 million came from other sources, highlighting the diverse avenues through which the office has bolstered its revenue streams.
