Nawalparasi: Two persons died after they were hit by a truck at Sisnepul of Gaidakot-10 in Nawalparasi Purba.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the truck (Na 4 Kha 8417) was traveling towards Narayanghat from Kawasoti when it struck a scooter (Lu 55 Pa 3134), resulting in the deaths of both the rider and the pillion passenger. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madhu Nepal, from the District Police Office, confirmed the incident.
The identities of the deceased have not been confirmed yet. The bodies are currently at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan.
