Balephi: Two girls have gone missing in a landslide that occurred at Balephi Dhade of Balephi rural municipality-1 in the district on Wednesday. Phul Maya Lama, 17, and her 5-year-old sister Man Maya Lama disappeared in the landslide while en route to their maternal uncle’s home at Golchhe of Jugal rural municipality-2. They are originally from Phulping of Chautara Sangachokgadhi municipality-2.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the landslide took place at 4:45 pm. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Karki from the District Police Office provided this information. In response to the incident, a 10-member police team led by Police Inspector Gajendra Rawat has been deployed to search for the missing girls.
