Hetauda: Two roads connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu have reopened from this morning. The Hetauda-Kulekhani-Phakhel-Pharping road and the Hetauda-Palung-Naubise road, previously disrupted by landslides, are now operational, as confirmed by District Police Office, Makawanpur’s police inspector, Thakur Sapkota.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani-Sisneri road and the Kanti Highway, which connects Hetauda and Lalitpur Metropolis, remain closed. The Dodhare River has washed away sections of the Bhimphedi-Kulekhani-Sisneri road, and it has also been affected by a landslide near the Dakshinkali temple. Efforts are ongoing to restore this route.
Similarly, a landslide has obstructed the Kanti Highway. Authorities are actively working to remove the debris and repair the damaged sections to facilitate traffic operations, as noted by the police officer.
