Kathmandu: Discussion has been held on the report of committees formed to hold the 11th national convention of the CPN (UML). During the meeting of the general convention secretariat held at the Chaysal-based UML Party Office on Wednesday, discussion was held on the report prepared in the context of preparation made for the general convention so far, said Chief of UML Publicity Department, Rajendra Gautam.
According to National News Agency Nepal, all the committees have reached the final stage of preparation for the general convention. The UML had formed 11 different committees to hold the general convention. Gautam added that the meeting has decided to organise the opening ceremony of the general convention at Sallaghari ground, Bhaktapur. Similarly, the closed session would be organised at Bhrikutimandap.
A decision was also taken to adopt ‘The determination to build decisive national: Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepal is our destination’ as the main slogan of the general convention, which was determined by the second statute convention. The UML’s 11th general convention is scheduled to take place from December 13-15 in Kathmandu.
