Godawari: The CPN (UML) is set to continue its second statute convention today, focusing on group-wise discussions of various reports. The event is being held at the Sunrise Hall in Godawari, Lalitpur.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the convention began with the presentation of pending reports from the previous day. The UML publicity department chief, Rajendra Gautam, stated that the day’s proceedings would commence at 8:00 am. Key figures, including Keshav Badal from the central disciplinary commission, Dr. Pushpa Kandel from the central accounting commission, and Dr. Bijay Subba from the central election commission, are slated to present reports from their respective bodies.
Yesterday, party chair KP Sharma Oli delivered the political report. Additionally, party vice-chair Bishnu Prasad Paudel proposed statute amendments, and secretary Pokhrel presented the organizational report. Amrit Kumar Bohora, chair of the central advisory council, also shared his report.
Gautam mentioned that today, representatives will be organized into ten groups for discussions on the presented reports. The convention, hosting 2,341 representatives from nationwide, is scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
