Kathmandu: The meeting today of the parliamentary party of the CPN (UML) has ended with a four-point conclusion. The meeting held at the federal parliament building in Baneshwor concluded that the parliamentary party leader and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli would direct all members of parliament to work efficiently keeping the parliamentary work and responsibilities as a priority.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the party’s Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula stated that the meeting concluded on several key points. It was decided that the country’s policies, plans, and issues of national importance would be raised through parliament in a way that reflects the country’s nationality, independence, sovereignty, national unity, social harmony, and tolerance.
The meeting also emphasized the need for the UML parliamentary party and its members to take effective initiatives to conclude pending bills, including the school education bill and federal civil bill, as soon as possible. “We have decided to play a vibrant role to promote parliamentary values, culture, and rules in the parliament, while establishing the parliament as a place of creative and constructive debate,” Chief Whip Bartaula noted.
