Kathmandu: Coordinator of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has announced that the Socialist Front is on the verge of unification. Addressing a meeting with party cadres, Dahal stated that the unity process among the parties within the Socialist Front is nearing completion.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Coordinator Dahal emphasized the plan to unify multiple leftist parties through the Socialist Front, expressing optimism that this collective effort would be realized shortly. He outlined the strategy to consolidate all leftist parties under a single umbrella.
The Maoist Centre Coordinator conveyed confidence that the anticipated unity would occur within days, signaling the start of political polarization, the consolidation of political power, and the onset of a socialist revolution. Dahal also highlighted a recent youth movement conducted via social media, interpreting it as a sign of ‘new political consciousness’ that resonates with longstanding Maoist demands.
Dahal remarked, “The youth have raised demands against corruption. It is a matter of pride that the current generation is seeking to end corruption and pursue the path of good governance.”
