Kathmandu: Kathmandu Gorkhas has secured its place in playoffs in the ongoing Nepal Premier League. Kathmandu Gorkhas reached the playoffs, defeating Pokhara Avengers by 13 runs in today’s first match. Bhim Sarki made significant contribution in today’s match to steer Kathmandu Gorkhas to playoffs.
According to National News Agency Nepal, he has become the first Nepali cricketer to strike the fastest half-century in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League. Bhim scored a half-century with five fours and four sixes in 19 balls against Pokhara Avengers today. He also became the ‘player of the match’. After making its place in the next level, Bhim of Kathmandu Gorkhas shared that the team achieved a comfortable victory with smooth coordination among the team members.
They got the positive result as per their plan, he mentioned. Bhim added Kathmandu Gorkhas benefitted much from Coach Monty Desai as he is well known about the Nepali players.
