Kathmandu: CPN (UML) Chair and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has announced that the party will pursue legal action and organize a peaceful protest in response to the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) on the night of September 12.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during a meeting of UML members from the dissolved HoR, Oli emphasized the need for a political resolution via the restoration of parliament. He articulated the party’s intention to approach the Supreme Court with a demand to reinstate the lower house.
The meeting, where these statements were made, is currently underway.
