Thakurgaon: On the occasion of Youth Festival 2025, a colorful march was held in the district today, participated by youth entrepreneurs, self-employed workers, and youth organizations. Organized by the District Administration and Youth Development Department, Thakurgaon, the march started at 11:30 am from the office premises of the Deputy Commissioner and paraded through different city streets.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the march was led by Deputy Commissioner Israt Farzana and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Soleman Ali. Following the march, a discussion meeting took place in the meeting room of the Deputy Commissioner. The discussion was organized under the theme ‘Let’s change the country, change the world’, marking the Youth Festival 2025 with the aim of building a new prosperous Bangladesh, free from all sorts of discrimination and injustice.
During the meeting, speakers emphasized that the innovative power of youth is a driving force for the country’s development. They highlighted the importance of everyone’s participation in realizing the dream of changing society. The main objective of the event was to involve the youth in the nation’s development through social development, poverty alleviation, and employment creation.
The march generated enthusiasm and excitement among people from all walks of life in the district.
