Jhapa: A total of 776 new cottage and small industries have been registered in Jhapa district during the first nine months of the current fiscal year, according to the Cottage and Small Industries Office, Jhapa.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Information Officer of the Office, Janaki Bhattarai, shared that 431 industries and 345 business firms were registered in the district during this period. In addition to the new registrations, 1,168 industries and 1,273 firms have been renewed so far in the current fiscal year 2081/82 BS.
Bhattarai stated that the number of new firms and industries has increased in recent years in Jhapa. The Office reported collecting Rs 22.18 million in revenue during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
