VP Yadav Advocates for Boosting Education Access in Rural Regions

GAIGHAT: Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has called for an urgent enhancement of educational access in rural areas across the country. Speaking at the golden jubilee celebration of Sarswati Secondary School in Siddipur, Chaudandi Municipality-8, Yadav highlighted the pressing need for educational development in regions that have long been underserved.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Yadav underscored the importance of collective efforts to ensure that citizens in rural areas are provided with adequate educational opportunities. He remarked, “Citizens in various rural areas of the country are out of school education. We should work hand in hand to expand access to education.” His comments reflect ongoing concerns about educational disparities between urban and rural regions.

The Vice-President extended his congratulations to the school community and local residents for the successful commemoration of the school’s 50th anniversary. During his address, he noted the lack of sufficient academic facilities, such as schools, colleges, and universities, in rural areas and the impact this has on educational attainment.

The event was attended by notable figures, including parliamentarian Dr. Narayan Khadka and the Mayor of Chaudandigadhi Municipality, Kalu Lama, among others, who joined in the celebration and echoed the call for improved educational infrastructure in rural areas.
