Barishal: Twenty-one dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till this morning.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during this period, three patients were hospitalized in different hospitals under Barishal, five in Chattogram, seven in Dhaka, and six in Khulna divisions, while one was in Dhaka South, as reported by a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of dengue cases has risen to 1,021, with nine deaths from dengue disease reported this year. Last year, the total number of cases rose to 101,214, with 575 deaths from dengue disease reported, the statement added.
