Pokhara: The Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences held its ninth assembly today, chaired by Prime Minister and Chancellor of PoAHS, KP Sharma Oli. The assembly was convened at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the budget and programme of the Academy for the current fiscal year were approved during the meeting. Additionally, the assembly reviewed the Auditor General’s report from the last fiscal year, with discussions focusing on areas requiring improvement.
Chancellor Oli directed the academy to enhance the effectiveness of health services and medical education. He also emphasized the importance of passing the budget and programme before the start of the fiscal year.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Duk Bahadur Chhetri presented a progress report on the academy’s achievements in academic, managerial, and health service sectors. Minister for Health and Population and Pro-Chancellor of PoAHS, Pradip Paudel, was also in attendance.
