Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group Sets Strategic Plans for Strengthening Bilateral Relations


Kathmandu: The first meeting of the Nepal-UK Parliamentary Friendship Group was organized today, coordinated by Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, a member of the House of Representatives. The meeting aimed to make the parliamentary friendship group more active and effective, with the objective of further strengthening the long-standing relations between Nepal and the UK, shared Shrestha.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting involved discussions among member parliamentarians of the group about various dimensions of Nepal-UK relations. Coordinator Shrestha highlighted that priorities would be given to regular talks among parliamentarians of both countries, exchanging experiences, and implementing programs to boost mutual understanding.



The meeting committed to remaining active in institutionalizing and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy by deepening historical relations between the two countries. The Group has prepared plans to undertake strategic activities focusing on the welfare of both nations in the coming days.
