Kathmandu: The annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26 have been presented in the Federal Parliament. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is currently delivering the budget for the forthcoming fiscal year during a joint sitting of the Federal Parliament, which commenced at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, there is a legal requirement that the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the next fiscal year must be presented in Parliament on Jeth 15 every year.
