Inaruwa: Due to extreme heat, schools in the Inaruwa municipality area, including the district headquarters Sunsari, have been given a three-day holiday. The municipality’s chief administrative officer, Dilli Niraula, informed that the holiday is from today until Friday (June 11-13).
According to National News Agency Nepal, there has been a significant increase in heat in Eastern Nepal, including Inaruwa, in recent days. Similarly, the Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City has also decided to declare a holiday for all community and institutional schools for one day due to the heat.
The acting mayor of the sub-metropolitan city, Sangita Chaudhary, announced in a notice on Tuesday to this end.
