Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has directed civil servants to prioritize inter-ministerial facilitation and coordination. During a high-level management group meeting at the Finance Ministry, Minister Paudel stressed the importance of inter-ministerial activities within the legal framework. He encouraged creating an environment conducive to completing program activities based on priority.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Minister Paudel emphasized setting monthly and annual goals for the upcoming fiscal year. He highlighted the need to amend the constitution during the implementation of the forthcoming budget and indicated that preparatory work would be carried out in consultation with all ministries and relevant bodies.
In addition, Finance Secretary Ghan Shyam Upadhyay and Revenue Secretary Dinesh Ghimire called on Division Chiefs and Departmental Chiefs to facilitate revenue collection and enhance capital expenditure.
