Embassy of India Gifts Ambulance to Simkot Rural Municipality

Kathmandu: The Embassy of India in Kathmandu has assisted an ambulance to the Simkot Rural Municipality of Humla district. Under the Nepal-India Development Partnership Programme, the municipality received the ambulance on Saturday, confirmed the Rural Municipality Chair Bijay Bhandari.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Chair Bhandari mentioned that the ambulance provided by the embassy will be utilized to rescue patients from wards 1 to 8 of Simkot Municipality. He emphasized that the new ambulance will significantly ease the process of transporting patients to the hospital, addressing a critical gap in the rural municipality’s healthcare resources. Previously, Simkot Rural Municipality lacked such facilities, making patient transportation challenging.
