RSP Lawmakers Intensify Slogan Chanting in Parliament

Kathmandu: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmakers continued their protest by chanting slogans in the meeting of the House of Representatives today. They engaged in sloganeering and picketing the well of the meeting hall at the start of the meeting.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmakers also participated in the protest by standing up from their seats. This display was in response to ongoing grievances.

The RSP has been disrupting the parliamentary meetings over the past few days due to issues related to ‘visit visa’ and immigration. The party is demanding the formation of a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the concerns surrounding visit visas and allegations of misconduct in immigration processes.
