Birgunj: The Birgunj Dry Port Customs Office in Sirsiya collected revenue amounting to over Rs 45.61 billion in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year 2024-25.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Office’s chief customs officer, Dhan Bahadur Baruwal, stated that although the revenue collection in the current fiscal year was not discouraging, it is not likely to meet the target.
The average monthly collection at the Office was four billion rupees. The revenue collection target for the current fiscal year stands at Rs 60.04 billion.
