Gulmi: The Kaligandaki Corridor road in Gulmi, which was blocked due to landslides since last Friday, is yet to open for vehicular traffic. The road remained completely blocked for three days due to a dry landslide on the Harmichaur-Arbeni road in Gargare under Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-1 on Friday afternoon.
According to National News Agency Nepal, although three dozers are on standby in the landslide-hit area to resume the road, regular landslides are causing problems, said Kaligandaki Rural Municipality Chair Bed Bahadur Thapa. The closure of this major road in the area for an extended period has caused problems for the citizens, Thapa added.
