UML’s Significant Focus on ‘Mission-84’: PM Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman, KP Sharma Oli, has said some forces guided by personal interests within the party were attempting to spoil the party’s mission to secure a single majority in the upcoming general election. While inaugurating a tree transplant programme organised at Kankali of Chandragiri municipality-13 by the National Youth Association in commemoration of leader Madan Bhandari today, Chairman Oli said the party is focused on winning a single majority in the 2084 BS election. “The party will hold accountable to those who are pursuing to get their personal interests served,” he warned.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Oli further reminded that the UML is significantly focused on Mission-84. He emphasized that the party’s interests include prosperity, development, and good governance in the nation. He expressed concern that while unity is required among party members for Mission-84, some forces are behaving as if a General Assembly is imminent, hinting at a potential intra-party rift.

The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to express his satisfaction over the improvement in the pass percentage by 14 percent in the Secondary School Education (SEE) results for 2081 BS compared to the previous year.
