Kalikot: The Karnali Highway, which was blocked from early morning on Monday, was opened for one-way traffic in the afternoon. One-way vehicular movement was restored by removing debris from landslides at Gaganekhola and Jite in Shuvakalika Rural Municipality within the Kalikot district.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tek Bahadur Rawat of Kalikot reported that vehicles stranded due to the landslides have now been able to proceed to their destinations following the resumption of traffic. Efforts to clear the debris and widen the road are ongoing, utilizing bulldozers to ensure smoother passage.
