Kathmandu: A message obtained from the House of Representatives regarding the Nepal Citizenship (second amendment) Bill, 2081 BS has been tabled before the National Assembly (NA). Secretary Dr Surendra Aryal tabled the document before the upper house.
According to National News Agency Nepal, NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal read out a letter about the temporary designation of duties and responsibilities for members in the Council of Ministers. The NA Chair apprised the upper house that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development is to look after the daily administrative affairs undertaken by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who left for Spain on June 28.
Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, has been assigned to handle the portfolio of Minister for Health and Population, Pradip Paudel. Minister Paudel had embarked on a trip to Thailand on June 24 to attend an event.
