Madrid: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently in Spain, has interacted with officials and representatives of the Overseas Nepali Forum, Spain. The Prime Minister met with the Nepali community following official events related to the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), organized by the United Nations in Seville.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting took place at the residence of Nepali Ambassador Shanil Nepal. During the gathering, Prime Minister Oli encouraged members of the Nepali Diaspora to return home and contribute to national development by utilizing the skills, experience, and capital they have acquired in Spain.
Prime Minister Oli, who leads a coalition government comprising the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (UML), announced his intention to hand over power to NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba earlier than previously agreed. He also addressed and dismissed rumours of internal disputes within the coalition and his party by stating, “We have no issues or disputes.”
